Feeds consist strictly of cereal grains, however the formula changes based on the pigs’ life stages: indeed, we prefer to feed piglets with feedstock containing more digestible proteins, while as the pig gains weight, we increase the amount of cereals and decrease that of mineral and vitamin supplements.

We carefully check each batch of incoming cereals to verify they do not contain toxins, an action which further guarantees both Animal Welfare and consumer health.

In order to respect and preserve our family customs, we use fresh milk serum whey, daily provided by local dairies, for the whole fattening stage. This tradition, which nowadays has been gradually abandoned due to its high costs, allows us to obtain more flavoury meat perfect for cold cuts production.

We produce ourselves the pig feeds and we mix the feedstock the moment before giving it to our animals, thus no use of preservatives is necessary.

In order to ensure the maximum quality, we do not use any by-products, not even in the amount allowed by the PDO regulations.
