You can also find our longer aged San Daniele PDO Cured Ham 24 months that features a characteristic scent and a richer flavour. The thighs selected for such a long aging come from heavier Antibiotic Free Pigs*, of at least 180 kilos weight, and 9 to 10 months old.
The thick-sliced prosciutto has a more uniform and intense colour, with a stronger and authentic flavour, forged by time. Its fragrance has notes of dry friuts, light toasting and butter.
The organoleptic and nutritional values of our 24 months PDO Ham meet customers’ expectations in terms of tenderness and sweetness.
